Yes.... but the shorts in the first pic are way cooler!
"look at that dude with the daisy dukes on!"
hey josh
What's the story w dual carb. shovel heads? Did someone manufacture and sell them, or were they a home brew deal?
Daisy dukes and white converses in '71. Must have been a skater. John's motors were always off the hook. He was one of the first to go way over 100" with dual mags and 4 plugs. My friend Greg had one of those early motors and it shook the earth. John had it going on. Left way to early. Thanks max.
My man's got thighs for days........ errrr........
Ditto what the first guy said. Bring back the Daisy's for Dudes, Max. If anyone can do it, you can.
honda shirt of the fisrt pic rocks
killer pics rich. i'll be sure to show them to bill.
harmon is the same guy that made a 120 inch shovel back in the day. uber badass motors
dude hot pants = AMAZING
I'm building a bike right now with a Harman front end. Love these photos. I found the first one John ever made a couple months ago. Sent it to Bill for the sake of history.
I cant wait to dive into the harmon project waiting in the wings! Hey John! Hey Rich! Hey Josh! Hey Max!
BTW, I live about a block from where Mr. Harmons house where he used to build his stuff. My ancient grumpy neighbor tells a pretty funny story about how they used to rip up and down the street on "test runs".
and if anyone has a Harmon bigtwin frame that they would like to trade for a great cond triumph one, contact me.
The house in the history of the chopper. I have the leafer Harman front end thats on his bike in the old footage him riding around. I had two of the first three ever made together for the first time in 40 plus years. Very moving to see them together thinking about the storys behind them.
A guy I know over here in UK had a Harmon 120" shovel back in late 1980's. Absolute beast of a bike, wonder where it is now.
It was fatured in Big Bike february 1972.
Absolutely marvelous masterpiece:)
Extremely light and fast...
There is a little article in the new Street Chopper on the front ends. Along with a little bit on max's 69 mile ride. Dig the Harmon stuff though.
Those daisy dukes are next level.
