It's a rare example, in fact I can't think of another one, of the same story being perfectly told in three different forms: book, screenplay, film. A testament to the power of the story itself.
yes it is, really i was a skate rat as many were thru JR high and high school all I cared about was reading Thrasher and skating, but this book, this book got my attention and I must have read it numerous times and watched the film a bunch.

H. Lee is from Monroeville. A bit south from where I live, in Birmingham. Got to say I appreciate the literary posts. This book is worthy of several reads. Ever read Tortilla Flats?
