this was one of my favorite skate photos &
still is. camera on a broomstick. head high frontside air.
amazing style. in a deep concrete pool. --chris miller-- can still
skate way too good at 40+. probably one of my biggest influences as far
as vert skating goes. check out the shadow in the background.

Yep, this shot always blew me away too.
No one else can get away with rockin' baby blue like that either...

Lots of Miller and other amazingness
I love that shot. I went their when i was 14, rolled into the bowl kick turned and slid out. Some dude from the deck said hey kid you skate ramps don't ya. I climbed out i was the only one their until he showed up. Long story short SAlba gave me 101 combi pool leasons for the day. That place was gnarly the couping stuck out 2 inchs slick as hell.
this picture sold the book dysfunctional for me. unreal.
this was the best poster i ever owned. miller & grant worked magic for that shot.
One of the best styles in skating for sure. totally underrated. I watched Chris and Buster Halterman skate a vert ramp in Maine when I was a kid and it left a huge impression. Chris was doing frontside inverts over the roll-in, hitting his hand on both sides of the roll-in.
I remember seeing Miller and Halterman at the O.G. skate hut down in Olnyville, RI. Sick mix of power and style. Sugarcanes, monster Crossbone lein airs and huge ollies that bent your mind.
that shadow is killer
Honestly that photo is unreal. The litany of responses here is a good testament to the timeless nature of it.
