You know Max, when the Paso city fathers forced the kustom show out of town. One of their major reasons to get rid of the show in their words "was the gang element" that it brought to town. They said that a number of "bad looking bikers" had taken over town, and that the cops were afraid to step in. I for one liked seeing the Shovel at Paso, and I didn't think you looked that bad.

Wanna see more of your bikes past and present and whats on the lift. Your too modest. Everyone has to put pics of their own stuff up now and again!

It's time sombody called Phil Linares who runs the Oakland Museum. He's a vintage
Hot Rod guy, he's got a classic 60's/70's Arlen Ness
at the museum. Did a '30's-40's Hot Rod show out at
Dean Lesher in W.C.
If Phil were to do a show about "Contemporary Traditional" builders in CA, obviously there'd have to be a couple 4Q bikes in it. Like this one.

That is a sweet angle shot . the sum of the total of a bunch of unique parts , and home made stuff . . .

thanks for the kind words...
so much time went into this bike.
i knew what i wanted but it took 3 times of building it to come out like this. my 4Q knuckle just came together...this bike took work. the frame, making the pipes and notching em around the frame the, all the stainless mounts and brackets getting those parts to jive. when it was done i felt like i had just built my own spaceship. a vl frame with a bigtwin motor and a vl fork is a wiggly high speed ride. works better with a narrow glide. but to me this was how this bike looked best.

The good times.

Brings back some memories.

That bike is badass, and still is with the new forks and bars.
