growing up in va beach as a skate rate i always hated the surf kids that skated. they always had such a aggresive weird slash style. not like TA or J Adams. it was always such a turn off to not surf. i never wanted to pick up that gross style. now in my forties and the whole movement in surfing from Tudor,Tyler Warren, Alex Knost and many others to actually look good ass shit on a wave is inspiring. style does matter and surfing is hard as shit. nothing like being a forty three year old kook grom all over again. going back to the beginning of where skating came from is a humbling experience!!
