i'm pretty sure the mailman kept the first copies of Ripper that got sent... i would have too. Finally got mine, and they look really good. Lots of Ken Nagahara photos, great photos from the one show in Portland... all around a solid mag, focusing on old choppers. Tom Fugle has a real nice piece of writing in there. If you can get it, get it. I think through amazon Japan it comes quick. Thanks GONZ AND KOTA AND KEN

A colon cleanse from the neck up. It's all for the better. Oh, and I wondered where the sign from 39th. St. ended up...

"Schenkelbürste"
Good luck! I hope you did not change everything at the same time.
To decrease the shop size is always a challenge...

Hmm,I thought that cholo in the pictures looked familiar..
Thanks for sharing this Max! Excited to see what you're going to do in the new space. I just ordered your new Real deck yesterday as part of a graduation present to myself. Change brings new opportunities and breaks living the same experience over and over. I look forward to the creations that come from the weeds spilling out of the cracks.
Here's to new beginnings!
Funny thing is Ive been wanting to see this mag for awhile now and was at Spade Georges place today and asked him if he got a copy of that Japanese mag they featured him in. So he says yes he sure did and pulls it out for me to check out. Very cool mag indeed great shots by Ken from New York and Redwood city alike. The mag feels more like a book, your new space looks cool man cant wait to see the chopper magic come out of it.
New dog, new girl and a new house! Sounds like a good fresh start. Still in Oakland?
Real, no pun intended, and nice.
radical.stoked for you max
max, why you sell hella 4Q merch in Japan but nothing in the states...you hate Americans brah?
Thank you for the continued honesty. Keep killin' it!
Max- super stoked on all ur creations. Very inspiring. I'm 37 yrs old and have been spinning the skateboard wheels since I was like 8. Never had the talent to go pro, but have always been 100percent skater. The knees don't have much more time left in them so I've been pretty bummed to know my skate days are numbered. I've been following your shit for some time now- and u you've sparked my interest in custom bikes. I'm seeing I can keep my freedom magic carpet, only in a different form than a skateboard. I'm gonna try my hand at building a Honda z50 for my 8 yr old son. Thnx for the spark, bro- seriously what I've taken from this blog and a podcast of yours is priceless to me. Thnx again
love the challenge text, the moustache & fresh haircut, and the ben davis shirt
