i really liked this movie.

doesn't feel like a movie that would be made in the politically correct 2014.
good and dark.  The valley girl man made a good comeback.

i liked mud, bud i liked this better.
i keep comparing it to mud, and both actors are kind of justifying there acting.

You can't go wrong reading any of Larry Brown's books either, he of course being the dude who wrote the book this is based on. Legit, right-down-in-the-dirt stuff. There's a documentary about him called "The Rough South of Larry Brown" that I think you'd probably really dig.

Haven't seen Joe, but it's been on my radar. I loved Mud.

Late to the party. Finally got around to seeing it. HEAVY. Haven't had a flick "move me" (for lack of a better word) in a long time. Thanks for the heads up.
