woo hoo. when i was about 10yo i got on the back of my uncle's BMW for a trip to the show me state - riding from bako. no one told us that the midwest/rockies in aug/sept is an electric storm ma'fuggin terrordome everywhere you look.
somewhere near tucumcari NM all hell broke loose. about 5 seconds into the storm i already had a lap full of pea sized hail, we hydroplaned twice and almost got flattened by an RV. we scurried to a gas station to split a bag of ruffles and wait it out. didnt quite work. the storm followed us to texas and guided us most the way home too.
half yer rainpants are smeared on yer front pipe! rain+ heat=bannana boat.
