1976
i was 2 1/2
my dad had just painted
this old schwinn purple....
it was girls bike he got
used and cheap. i liked the horn,
the bars, the square back tire and
it's new coat of paint.
i picked the color and i'll never
forget how that can sounded when he shook
it. the training wheels lasted a few days,
the seat was also changed. at this age i had no
idea about cool or uncool.... a girls bike?? i was
just so happy to have the bike.
red zippup hoodie, wranglers, and clarks
No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes
No one knows what it's like
To be hated
To be fated
To telling only lies
But my dreams
They aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free
No one knows what it's like
To feel these feelings
Like I do
And I blame you
No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain and woe
Can show through
But my dreams
They aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free
When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news
Before I laugh and act like a fool
If I swallow anything evil
Put your finger down my throat
If I shiver, please give me a blanket
Keep me warm, let me wear your coat
No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

Good to see your style hasn't changed much over the years. Maybe it has but uh..that whole full circle thing, whatever.
Wait. Who is that band?
My first bike was a old Schwinn Scrambler, one of the old Stingray frames with BMX shit on it and a big square banana seat. Kinda wish I still had it.
Max's been rollin with apes since you was shittin yellow! Was that in Pa er Cali?
I'm smilin'.

moved to cal.

It's not a girl's bike,
it's a 'step-thru'.
all the T's are sold out sold out sold out! i understand and wish to continue!
I think guys should still wear red zipup hoodies, wranglers, and clarks! the bike was just a purple schwinnster.. get it?
I still remember the rubber smell of my first bikes tires. And the smell in the bikeshop. After somedays I played cornering my "motorbike". Swinging my bike right and left while the frontwheel was stuck in the bicycle-stand. Yes, that costed a ne front wheel-rim and a slap in the face by my father. The smell of my new tires on my thruxton reminded me to that last week.
