....--dr. sprocket--....

got a visit from Rich at the
shop a while back. it's always
a nice surprise to see him. he's
been there and done that. he's been
on choppers for about 40yrs.
after years of making single
down tube frames, having a 100mph
knuckle, and jammin old choppers
anround the country he is here....

he built this sportster to do
one thing on....ride. and that's
what he's been doing on it all summer.
the bike is a mix of old chopper
parts he's had or tracked down but
based around newer pupmed up 1200.
it's got bunch of handmade parts on
it and a lot of his character.
when talking about his bike he
sometimes sounds like he's apologizing
for the size of the seat or that it has
blinkers....?? but c'mon after this
long he doesn't need to explain jack.
thanks for stopping by Rich and thanks
for being such a solid dude.

I Met Rich at the Solano Swap MEET over the weekend. I recognized him off this blog. I remembered his pic because I have a similar sporty.

Rich, thanks for offering up your knowledge on the Springer I bot [off Oakland Chris], and for the deal you gave me on little horse trading we did.

It was good to meet you, Mark Larkin
