went there with ron in like 90 for his tws interview. was like, "what the fuck? this it the worst spot ever." then he kilt it. maybe they'll rebuild it with like a dreadlock trophy of total awesomeness right in the middle of the gap.
what freaked dudes out about that gap was the facts that you had to be doing like 80 mph in order to clear it and then hope to not get flattened in the intersection. man shit right there.
ok who was the dude that hung out and inspected the "lawn" on his hands and knees? i assumed it was a nut house with a david lynch movie going on inside.
yeah it was some sort of halfway house or nut house. the one guy was super into staring at reflections in chrome too... he would be about an 1/8" from whatever he was looking at and be mesmerized. god to be so lucky.
Is there any evidence of this gap in its use? What issue of Transworld or any other mag is there a photo of this spot, I would definitely love to see it, thanks.
