an old -real- ad....
this was probably around 1994.
gabe shot the photos on wood st. in west oakland near
the old warehouse that i lived in at the time. i remember
being really stoked that Real did this ad with me and our dogs.
those two dogs loved to pull the skateboard and would get going
super fast. a good memory.
thanks to all that responded on the -content warning- post below.

oh shit.....house
Hey whats up, here's some photos of my dad on a VW trike he had in the late 70's. He called it the "shit house on wheels" he couldn't remember who built it. But it was fucking cool, and whoever it was put some real time into it. These were taken somewhere in southern Indiana where we still live, I don't know what ever happened to the trike, but I wish I did.

!!! photos stashed for 41yrs!!!
i was working at a wood shop a few years ago
and one of the old guys the uses the shop told me
he had some old black&white photos of some -Hells Angels-
he knew from school. i expected some shitty snapshots or maybe
even some random biker photos. it took him about a year or so to
dig em up. he took em in 1967 and had stashed them shortly after.
so one day he comes in the shop and calls me over and opens up
a folder and the photos layed out before me are the beautiful
8x10 photos that you see below. i was floored.
how often do you get to see shots like this that you have never seen.
and i got the story from how it all went down:
Mike said he was driving his 60's chevy van on slyline in the
Oakland hills. as he rounded a corner he saw all the bikes scattered about
and a few club members he had went to school with. mike happened to have his
camera with him because he was out shooting photos anyway. he said his
hello's to his friends and clicked away. they were out filming "hells angels
on wheels" and hadstopped to change film.
enjoy max
and a special thanks to Mike Serpa for the photos
how cool is to see a photo of sonny barger that you have never seen
righteous knuckle. check the the springer extension.
mike says all the girls wore a lot "paint on there faces"
below -joe pinkston- oddly enough mike says he knew joes as a kid
from rollerskating. "yeah lots of peolple were rollerskating back then"

Hey Max,
Here's a pic of my dad back in '58. He would have been 65 on January
5th, but he died 20 years ago... on a bike ride believe it or not.
Had a massive heart attack after during a stop at a swap meet in San
Bernadino.
I wrote this piece about him a few years back.
bendpress
Happy New Year Mad Max.
Andy
hey andy thanks so much.... that really is one of the coolest stories
I've ever read. As someone that lives the roller coaster ride... you got me
all choked up. thanks for sharing that. max

it's about time x 2
1st thing: too short played the thrasher party
and i've always wanted the photo with
him to go with my photo of me and lemme.
he was mid greenroom players ball when
what appeared to be a homeless man(me) approached
him asking for a photo. 18yrs later. poof.
2nd on the way to the show jasin and i where kind of
racing from light to light. or maybe just massaging the throttle.
we were in the tenderloin... the roads are extra crusty with cum,
body oil, crushed dreams and maybe a little SpF 69. well it started to mist
or almost rain and i turned the corner and did a gay little rap on the throttle
that sent me sideways flatrack for a few feet so i gave it more gas and was going backwards but peeling out then i layed(laid) it down sliding next to my bike
and sparks everywhere and the carhart jacket turned into a turtle shell. wet jeans
hole in pocket and a female crackhead laughing at the whole scene. she was
instantly reprimanded. broke clutch lever, license plate bracket,
broke tail light, dented tank
mangled primary.
total ego enhancement....... priceless.
i really wish i had the night photo of it laying on its side
mid tenderloin base heads everywhere. then santa rolled by in a wheelchair.
this photo sucks(see below) rode the bike home.
