.. good thoughts..

one day i got a call from this kid nick.
he was a friend of a friend and he said he
needed some help with his bike. as it usually goes
you get to know someone who's bike your working
on. he would stop by and check how it was going
or help out or just hang out.
one day he told me how he was going through this
bad deal with his kidneys... he got served a real bad
pair... and has been waiting for a match on a new one.
his sister offered to give her one of hers. after a
million tests.. the doctors said his sisters would work,
if all went well.
after waiting what feels like a year or more NICK
goes in for his surgery today.
keep good thoughts. be happy for what is good in your life.
avoid the negative energy. and nick get well soon. save some
money so we can get your motor built.
take care man.

...my friend annies grandfather.....

Max
I thought you would like the nose art from these old planes. Most of
them are from WWII and the Korean war. My grandfather was an engineer
and he designed a plane called the FRU Vought corsair. it was a
fighter plane and it was famous for its large engine and bent wings..
My grandfather died in in the early 1940's. Suffice to say I didnt
know him and I dont know that much about him to this day.
I was looking at the nose art because there was one Corsair named
Annie-Mo and I wanted to find out if the name had anything to do with
my great grandmother Annie. It didnt. anyway the art is super cool and
it made me think of something you might like.
below there are pic of his plane
annie

annie is also responsible for my peacock
stencils. her artwork is very cool check it
here...

... at the age of 69

I wondered if you could put these up for my dad Anthony Groucutt. I think you will like the flicks!!!
These are some pictures of my dad when he was racing in the early 60's... The manx Norton he had was second in the junior TT 1958 Dave Chadwick had raced it for Reg Derdon. Dave was unfortunately killed at Mettet Belgium 1962.
anyway thought these would look great on the blog.

also just thought you would like these

Here is what my dad is riding now at age 69
Anthony Groucutt Norton Commando 850

Hand made petrol tank, oil tank, engine plates, exhaust pipes and seat. Also hand made are the brackets, gear linkages incet manifolds and also modifications to the 1960 featherbed frame. The engine is an 850cc Commando, crank balanced, valve gear lightened, Tickle Twin Leading brake...

I hope this goes down ok.

cheers

Daz.

Daz these photos are amazing.
